Short Description:
Bring the final item to complete Lenny's collection of Powerpuff Girl (PPG) paraphernalia. This is a multi-cache. |
Hi there,
This is my first cache hide and I’ve placed it in the first park that I visited in the Austin area. Cypress Creek Park is located next to Lake Travis. The park has two entrances. The one on FM 2769 is for the day use side of the park and the one on Bullick Hollow Road is for camping and boating. Be sure to bring some food for the ducks!

The Mission:
Lenny Baxter (from episode 15 - Collect Her) has collected nearly every piece of PPG paraphernalia there is and has hidden the loot in Bubbles’ Cache at the PPG’s school: Pokey Oaks Kindergarten. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to bring the final item to finish the collection. This could be PPG merchandise, something that a PPG would like, or a travel bug. To finish the mission you’ll have to get some information from the ever redundant Mojo Jojo, find the Gangreen Gang’s hideout, and stand in the grass in Townsville Park with the Amoeba Boys (episode 3 - Geshundfight).
Begin your adventure in The City of Townsville (the parking lot of the day use side) at N30° 26.330', W97° 52.416'. At this location, you may meet the Mayor or Sara Bellum (park patrol) requesting some assistance (a $8.00 day use fee).
From there, you’ll need to use your ultra superpowers to find the redirector hidden in Mojo Jojo’s Secret Mountain Observatory in the Park at N30° 26.307', W97° 52.396'. |
City of Townsville Ordinances:- Stay on the established trails. The redirectors and the cache are all within 10 feet of existing trails.
- Don’t go over/under any fences. The exception is a cable that has been run across a footpath to ensure that only pedestrians proceed on the path.
- Don’t stay out past bedtime. The day use side of the park closes (and they lock the gate to the parking lot) at 9:00PM.
- Watch out for yourself. The cache is in a section of public land that is leased from the LCRA by Travis County but is not part of the maintained section of the park. The area is woodsy, sometimes flooded, and infrequently patrolled.
- You must get approval before placing a cache in a Travis County park. I have obtained this approval, and can provide the contact info for the approver on request.
- Cache In Trash Out
- Be sure to re-hide the cache and redirectors well. Since the cache container is brightly colored, extra care is needed in re-hiding it. We don’t want the loot to fall into the hands of Mojo Jojo!

The coordinates for the Gangreen Gang's hideout were found to be +0.003'N and +0.008'W of the previously listed coordinates.

The coordinates for the Kindergarten were found to be +0.005'N and -0.003'W of the previously listed coordinates.
Thanks again to The Diver and his WAAS enabled Magellan Sportrack for the more accurate coordinates!

The first to find this one! What is up? Is everyone else in Austin chasing after the rock? This is a great multi-cache into at section of parkland I didn't know about before. Thnx! BTW - I'll get the TxGeoCoin (FTF Prize) into circulation soon!
