This cache is located near a gravel road running through farm land and a wildlife management area that is one of the most popular birding and fishing spots in Arkansas.

At the time the cache was hidden, the surrounding vines and brambles had not yet begun to vigorous growth and presented no obstacle. However, when in full summer growth, they could present a minor nuisance to anyone searching for this cache.

The nearby lake, which can be viewed from a paved parking lot nearby, is a pretty scene at sunrise and a good place to look for water birds.

Time to archive this one. The high water probably carried this one away.

Went to the exact location according to my GPS. While there a farmer came by and told us that we were on private property. The road is no longer a public road. Anyway, the roadside was completely flooded, and we saw nothing that even resembled a cache. If you can, please check on this one, and either move it to a public place or archive it. Thank you so much for the hunt.

We found the spot - just not the cache. Sorry - couldn't fight the cottonmouths or overgrowth in the swamp! We'll go back in the fall or winter. The water was clear up to the levee and the cache may actually be under water if it's still there at all. Very interesting backroads in though! Felt like a whole different world. We saw parts of our own state that we didn't even know existed and we will go back when the water recedes and the vines & poison ivy die back! Thanks for a great adventure!
