It was such a beautiful day that we decided to tape the end of the race and do a little multi-cache. This was very fun. I loved the way the first two parts were hid. We had a little trouble with satalite signal for the last one but we found it ok. We traded a little helicopter for a tube of balloons. Thanks for a great multi!

Had a few problems finding the second duck and after we finally found I think I may have enter the coords in wrong since the gps was telling us that the tree was 70 feet away. no problem finding the goose. We left 1000 pecos and took a fottbal game. Thanks.

On the second leg, we almost gave up. Eventually, we found it and were able to complete our quest.

Started this one yesterday morning but had to stop after the first part to meet up with family visiting from out of town. Came back this AM and finished the cache. Took nothing, left nothing.

Roads closed and had to do this one on foot. There are two others nearby so I made a morning of it. The first marker was indeed the best I've seen. Found this one ~11:30A. There were these cool Hologram Sunglasses that my daughter wopuld love so I traded them for "Stretch" a TY beanie Baby. I also see the Star Bear TB hasn't gotten far since I dropped him off a couple of months ago near Akron NY. Somehow he made it back. I took him again and will attempt to get him on his a bit further so he doesn't get bored with Rochester. I'll log him on Geochache.

I completed D D Goose with the aid of a full moon after doing the nearby Nido de la Lechuza. I had this part of the park all to myself as I did not see or hear another person.
Part 1 is the best waypoint marker I have seen yet. I was fortunate to have ridden my bike since the roads are closed at night. I did not have the energy to walk to each waypoint, I finished at 11 pm.

Good cache.

The cache has been fixed and is ready to go. Our second duck had been mulched, along with the tree limb it was hidden in. A new duck has been hidden in it's place. Same coords. apply. Thanks and have fun!!

Couldn't get to this cache during daylight hours after we saw it posted, but why let darkness and lightning (no rain yet) scare us off? Grabbed our flashlights and off we went. Parked near 1st set of coords, found 1st duck at 9:03PM. Gates were closed so we hiked it to next duck and found it at 9:25PM. Still wasn't raining, just more lightning. Walked to next set of coords and after a bit of a search (sats jumping), Bill found cache at 9:46PM. Signed log book (1st to find), left a Mother Goose Clock book, took a fridge magnet. Then as we were putting lid back on, the sky let loose with a vengance. Great weather, if your a duck! Got soaked going back to car, but had a great time anyways. This is what caching is all about! Thanks for a great 1st hide.
