This cache is in the LBJ National grasslands. The grasslands have
a trail system that allows equestrian riding (the most popular
activity), hunting in season(second most popular), hiking and
mountain biking (it's usually too sandy for that though.)

This cache is on a little hill that will give you a good view of
the rolling prarie. The container is kinda small so don't bring
anything too big.

Pay attention to the format of the coordinates you find in the
logbook. They are written in degree decimal, without minutes. You
may have to change the format on your gps reciever or just do the
math.

Out caching in the LBJ grasslands today. This is a great area. Thunderstorms had passed through an hour or so before, so it made for a slick hike. Found it without much trouble. Swapped trinkets, left a CITO kit and a MA state quarter. Thanks for an excellent cache!

Found it in the open with no cap. The top was chewed off. Some critter made breakfast, lunch and dinner out of this cache. Plastic bag was chewed up and log missing. I left a sheet of paper with my name and date. Placed the cache where the hint said it should be. Looks like tree was hit by lightning or just burned lately? Great location. Enjoyed the view.

Logging this one on this service to clear it from my searches.

Came back a few months later with the new owner and replaced it with a spankin ammo can. Take that you munchin critters!

Found both caches after finishing 2nd in an orienteering meet at the LBJ Grasslands. From cache #1 I took the Walk Across America pin, and left a Matchbox helicopter. I took a Hotter 'n Hell Hundred pin from #2, and left a flag pin and some play money.

Found it without to much trouble spent the whole day wondering around the grasslands
