The Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell is one of four National Cemeteries in Florida. The cemetery is operated by the VA’s National Cemetery Administration (http://www.cem.va.gov) and offers a final resting place for honorably discharged veterans.
The cache is not located among the gravesites, but on the Memorial Trail located within the Cemetery grounds. The paved trail is an easy walk and is handicap, stroller friendly. Along the trail you will see memorial markers for many different groups. To get credit for this cache, please email me with the group whose members are memorialized on the marker at the cache location. I parked at N 28° 36.347 W 082° 12.953. This is a committal shelter so please do not park here if services are going on.
