The location is nothing really special, but it's in a nice scenic countryside, typical Upstate NY farmland, and may introduce you to some perhaps little known hiking/ biking/skiing potential as well.

The cache is a .30 cal ammo box painted black, containing a few useful goodies for swapping. (no kid stuff, and no particular theme; if you swap, please trade with items of similar value).

There is also a log book, of course, for you to leave some comments about yourself, the hunt, the weather, the mosquitos, the snow, or whatever.

Watch for poison ivy, like everywhere else in WNY there is some in the area, but not a lot.

Today I was hiking along this beautiful dirt road working on a long multi that had been placed here by Zoggy20. After completing his cache, I slowly made my way back to the car (which was about 3 miles away). So in my leisurly hike I took a look to see what other caches were on my route back to the car and I was delighted to see a Barrington cache just a quarter mile away! Happy days! After a short search at my zero I came up with the hide. At this point the snow had stopped and I was greeted with the warm sun on my face. That made for an exceptional moment...thank you for this cache and for providing me with another stop on this beautiful "Spring" day.

Nice walk this morning my only concern was that I saw a lot of poison ivy along the pathway, tried to avoid it and found the cache after a brief search. Nice area, Thanks for the fun!

Found on a nasty 25 Deg. Day with 30 MPH winds, but I was in the area, so what the heck. Cache in excellent condition after it's first winter. Thanks.

Have to share First to Find honors on this one. Met the Berkmeirer's while we were looking for this one. Thank you for an enjoyable hunt after spending the afternoon at a boring Family Reunion! Signed the logbook, took nothing, left nothing excape a couple pints with the Skeeters!
