This cache (our first) involves hiking over flat terrain on well defined paths. You will be required to navigate to two waypoints within the area first to determine final location of the cache. Total walking distance is under 2 km round trip.

Waypoints to follow:

1) N53°35.033 W113°22.301 - Here you will find a sign for a "pillar" monument located nearby. Record the LAST THREE digits of the YEAR that it was erected at the site. Not the year of the event! Record this as: POINT1 = XXX.

2) N53°34.422 W113°22.383 - You will next have to record the LAST THREE digits of the YEAR that this "pillar" was erected. Hint: The number is etched in concrete, look up towards the bridge. Record as: POINT2 = XXX.

3) N53°34.(POINT1 - 474) W113°22.(POINT2 - 497) - The waypoint to the resting place of the cache located in a "pillar" of it's own.
