Another of our favorite places, especially nice in the fall. The cache is a pretty easy find, A short bushwhack through fairly open woods; the main idea is to get people to visit this unique area.

The cache is a .30 cal ammo can painted black, and contains some outdoor related items for swapping (please try to maintain the theme when trading). There's a "special prize" for the first one to find the cache.

Well, after spending many months as the closest unfound cache for me (as well as one of the last few remaining unfound WYCO caches), Chicky and I finally decided to brave the daunting unmaintained road from Hades.

I have always enjoyed the places Barrington, Mrs. B and Penny caches have taken me, and this was cache was so much of what I have come to expect from this crew. What an amazing place - it's not necessarily accessible for Chicky's poor little Saturn - but for a lil' car that thing can sure mudbogg! It's like a little blue tank! Haha.

After experiencing quite a harrowing drive to the cache area, we were greeted by the amazing sight of an absolutely beautiful lake surrounded by wilderness. What an excellent area - surely a spot I would never have had the good fortune to visit if there wasn't a geocache here. As always, B, Mrs.B and P, you have outdone yourself.

After parking a short distance away from the cache, Chicky and I quickly went in and made the find. It was so enjoyable to be completely surrounded by the sights and sounds of nature. After signing the log, we took our time returning to our car (planning to return on a less wet/muddy/snowy day with cameras in tow).

Thank you for introducing us to this gorgeous area!

I had a few minutes to spare and this was a place I had wanted to visit for quite some time. Once again I was taken to a road I had never traveled before. It was good that I had a truck because the road was a little rough at times but any vehicle could travel it if they take their time. Once I arrived on site I was totally amazed at the beaver pond, this thing is huge! Found the cache after about a 5 minute search. I took nothing but left a nice polished piece of flintridge stone. I signed the log and concealed the cache really good. Thanks for the nice hide. - Paleoman52

Love seasonal roads. They take you to such nice areas. Really nice beaver pond. No trouble finding the cache. It is really full. Signed log, took/left nothing. Thanks for the hide and a reason to see the area. Just a little ways from the cache while heading to do Brogans Cascade Cache, I saw 4 hen turkeys and 19 little ones ahead of me in the road.

This was a very nice area, hiked in from the end of the road. Took a swiss army knife and left a keychain lantern flashlight. Thanx.
