Welcome to ‘A Buggy Place on the Common’ – only 2,5 km (1,5 mi) from Copenhagen centre and 5 km (3 mi) from Copenhagen Airport.

The cache is called a Buggy Place for two reasons. One is because it’s a place for bugs. So is the other. You'll see when you get there.

The Buggy Place itself is a dark semi-transparent 2 litres box (20*17*10cm) with a clear lid placed in a neutral grey plastic bag. Since it’s a rather large box there’s lots of room for trading items and travelling bugs.

Be advised: It is mandatory to do some sort of trading to claim-and-maintain a ‘Found it!’ on this cache. Placing or retrieving travel bugs does not count as trading. Traded items must be specified in the log book and in the log on this page. If the above mentioned terms are not met make a ‘Note’ in stead.

The cache is placed apx. 1 m above the ground in a cluster of small trees. As the cache is placed under dense leaf overhang the coordinates should not be expected to show the location with pinpoint accuracy.

Access is easy:
- Take a hike or a bike.
- Grab a cab.
- Take the Metro train to ‘Universitetet’.
- Go by bus to a nearby stop.
- Park your car at pos. N55° 39.554' E012° 35.071'.

Initial cache contents:
- A log book with 2 pens (do not remove),
- A First Finder’s Certificate,
- An Engineer PocketLight flash light,
- A Land Rover Freelander miniature car,
- A mini compass.

Enjoy caching ...

My first cache in Denmark, and thus obviously my first also
in Copenhagen. At my previous visit to this nice city,
geocaching did not yet exist. Time changes rapidly.
Let's see how long a typical cache will survive.

I visited this cache in the afternoon. There were that many
insects around that seemed to be eager to get my blood that
I tried to hurry as much as possible. Interesting location -
such an area does not exist in my home country Austria.

The cache was in good condition although it does not get
that much visitors.

Thanks for the cache which brought me to an area of
Copenhagen which I would not have visited without a cache
to be found there.
