Open Log: Personal use only I was out caching with Killerb today and we thought we would do a couple of caches in this area. This Park is absolutely beautiful and I was surprised how many campers were enjoying it for a Monday. We had a very nice walk to the cache hide. It was partially exposed so after signing the log and making a couple of trades, we hid the container a little better to make it more challenging for the next cacher. Nice hide spot and Thanks for the fun. -Paleoman52-

Chicky and I were out today trying to make the most of a beautiful Saturday morning before the snow/rain started flying. We found the cache with no problem after a little slippin' and slidin'.

Open Log: Personal use only It seems the crew has mutinied and formed their own group. I have become the driver for Woodies Roundup but I still get to log a find right. A 1/2 hike on dry trails was just what we needed today. Rumor has it Woodies Roundup has located the rabitt TB and is in possession of it.

Open Log: Personal use only Was a pretty short hike, even in the winter, with the campground area closed off. I like the way it's labled only as a NAVICACHE, and nothing else. You'd think some of the 100+ finders on the "other site" would get the hint. I took a pair of scissors, left a WG$. Thanks Gimpy.

Had to take a trip to the Indian Reservation, so we figured we would knock one off. Candie, Katie and I had a nice drive, except we missed the exit while we were discussing where to plan our next cache and had to go all the way to Buffalo before the next exit came up. 35 miles out of our way! :(

After explaining geocaching to a little old man at the last cache I found; had everything setup to go and find this cache and I did. Nice walk through the park. Left pez dispenser and took orange drink...just a little parched.

Open Log: Personal use only Mr Mom, Cory 27 (Jockwannabe), the Goo and a first time cacher Wendy decided to do a quick cache after a day at Six Flags where the Goo and Wendy were dancing in a show. Tried one entrance to the park but, in the dark, couldn't figure how to get near the area. SO instead we left the park and headed up the road. The GPS said we were closer so we parked on the side of the road near a trailhead. The light of the full moon led us directly there. We found the cache quickly around 8:45pm. Left nothing, took nothing. Wendy enjoyed her first caching experience so off to another quick cache before heading home. Thanks for the cache, Gimpy!

I was at the park participating in a Lure Coursing Field Trial with my Borzoi, Zavielle, and after she finished her runs in the trial (in the ribbons I might add:), we drove over to the Geocache area. Had been raining most of the day so Zavielle and I were already soaked and mud covered-couldn't get any wetter. This one was an easy find at 3:45 this Saturday Afternoon. Globetrotter bet us here earlier this afternoon. We took the rain poncho (wish I would have found the cache before the Field Trial as I could have used the waterproof poncho!) and left a light stick and the Frog Prince Travel Bug that I had picked up in Devil's Pincushion closer to home in Leroy, Ohio. The Cache Container is Full!!!

The forth of 4 caches today. My dog (Nick) & I put 130 miles on the car to hit some of those most west of western NY caches. I hit this one on the return home as the sun was going down as well as some wet snow. There was a lot of mud and the dog got tangled in the grapevines but as usual I was probably on the wrong approach. In true caching spirit I was having fun.
