Open Log: Personal use only It was a balmy 20 degrees F in Rochester on Saturday morning when I found it. I loved it though, a beautiful morning of snowhoeing and geocaching. I saw a red-tailed hawk and a couple northern shrikes on my way to the cache. Went around in circles a bit, but not too long. Had to dig in about a foot of snow, but I was not beaten on this day. I took the Goodtimes 2.0 CD and left the Croc Hunter's Cards. Also took Mike Bugowski on his way to another nearby cache! -jackbear-

Nice easy one for poor tired me! Walked along the canal and found it with minimal difficulty. Too hot out there to exert myself today so this cache was ideal! The walk was quite pretty, too. Took nothing, left something - a yo-yo, I think, a fairly nice one because the cache had plenty of room.

Our first navicache ever! First time we tried it, my wife and I were using a Magellan 310 hooked up to a PalmIII running PathAway. We got really close but everytime we stopped to negotiate the terrain we lost our bearing. This time we were assisted by the capable Lowrance iFinder Plus. Got to within 24 feet and then spotted the cache visually.

Open Log: Personal use only Wish this caching activity was around when my children were children. This is the ideal cache for kids - not too difficult and a nice bike ride to go with it. Cache is intact, I only took 1 fireball (could not resist the temptation) and a picture. I left everything else and on my bike.

Open Log: Personal use only No real trouble finding this one. Number 2 of 13 for the day. I ended up finding the M&M hitchhiker Dude at Joanne's Trek later in the day. We hung out all day and I left him at Egyptian Hike for the next leg of his journey

I liked this one. I found it without too much difficulty, and was able to bring my wife, and puppy along instead of leaving them at a trail head as I start bushwacking my way in. I took a picture of us with the camera from the cache, though I am pretty sure I forgot to wind it. I left a space blanket, and took a bugs bunny Pez dispenser.
