This micro cache is located along Dishmill Creek. There are several trails which lead to, and meet near the cache. One of these trails used to be a road during the days of horse and buggy! If you're familiar with the park, maybe you can use one of the other, quicker trails to get to the cache.

I have given parking coords near a trail that will take you to within a few hundred yards of the cache, then you can bushwack directly to the cache from there.
The cache is located in a relatively flat area which used to be a beaver pond. Once you find the cache, I would suggest some looking around the general area, as the topography that the creek flows thru is kind of interesting in this area. There is also a nearby beaver pond....Go figure!

The cache is in a military surplus decon container just like the one shown in the picture below.

Bug spray is highly recommended, as well as wearing long pants, due to the heavy vegetation at the cache location.

I suggest parking near N4236.076 W07800.177, which is an entrance to the "E" cabins. While you are there, check out the object at N4236.059 W07800.047

I took my wife along for her first time to look for a geocache. This was a beautiful walk and I highly recommend it to anyone who likes a challenging hike. Located the cache right away and I signed the log, also I removed the geo coin that I found in the cache. I took nothing else but left one of my hand chipped arrowheads that I made out of Onondaga chert. This piece is a beauty and a good reward for the next finder. This was a good hide and I was lucky that I found it as quickly as I did. - Paleoman52

Went out after the Letchworth Fall Gathering IV with Junglehair to grab this and one other nearby cache.
Congrats to Junglehair on finally finding all the active caches in Letchworth.

The grass was tall and the sun was hot. The creek ws low so we walked partway up the creek. Smiley found it after battling some prickers. Thanks for the hide.

Came over from another nearby cache. Had to do a little searching as it wasn't hidden the way we expected. Came in from downhill - shorter hike.

Very nice area and hide. Was in the Letchworth State Park for a Hot-Air Balloon gettogether with Balloonpilot, Chickenlips and WW Gobstopper and we went caching, Gps was pretty much right on yet Chickenlips Hucklebuckled everyone. Took red carabiner and left glow-in-the-dark necklace and a FLT Patch. Thank you for the adventure and scenic hike.

We are trying to get at least one balloon flight out of the park this weekend... Unfortunately the weather is not being too cooperative. In our non ballooning time we have decided to do this cache as a filler for the middle of the day. Balloonpilot, Chickenlips, WW Gobstopper and Roadrash all gave it 100%... It was Chickenlips that was first finder.. I hate when she does that!! I guess that I should start looking for the obvious!! We took the Wheres George dollar and left a squeeze flashlight in trade. We had a great time and appreciate your fine effort.. Thank you!

Decided to do this one after work. Had been a hard day so took the trail instead of bushwhacking. Its .27-mile straight line bushwhacking (but lots steeper) from the trailhead and .46 mile going by the trail. Nice peaceful walk in the woods, not a soul around. Got to the cache area and spent about 10 minutes finding it, very well hid. At first the GPS had me about 30 feet away but when I was signing the log it settled down to about 10 feet. When I got back to the trailhead I continued on and followed your suggestion to check out the object at 42 36.059, 78 00.047.
Very interesting. This is the 2nd one of these I have seen in the park. The other one was when doing Gibsonville Doublet by Road Kill. Thanks for the hide.

Ihad a little extra time tonoght so the wife and I decided to go caching .We only had two yet to find in the park so off we went. This cache took us to yet another part of the park that we had never been before. We had no problems finding cache and it was hidden in a nice spot. Thanks for the hide!!
