Be prepared for a wonderful adventure. Located within the Akron Falls Park, this cache placement was approved by the Erie County Parks department. Park at the parking lot on N 43 00.903 W 078 29.516. You will walk down the road to the right of the parking lot (it is closed from now until spring as it was a FAST sledding hill). After you cross a bridge you will see a Nature Trail to your right (wooden posts and sign to designate and walk under). This is the trail the cache is off of. You will be walking along side Murder Creek....But don't worry you won't get wet. You will need hiking boots though to find the cache....Eversure son scoped out the placement and he was sure people would smile at this one, he's 11.

Huckle Buckle - I found it. Second cache of the day, (4:30 pm), and for sure the hardest of the day. Clever hide, spent half hour before finally using clues to find it. Nice views of area. Took - Doggie key chain, Left - Blue's Clues TB. Thanks for the hide. Strikeforce1

Hooray! Found cache at 12:56PM and it still had the ferrari TB inside. We were hoping to pick it up and help take it to PA with us today along w/ another Cannonball Run racer. Beautiful park, wish it was even nicer weather and we had more time to explore. Thanks for getting us to Akron.

I picked up a bunch of spectators who came along just to jest at Road Kill as he circled evercloser to eversures cache. I made the mistake to scout the other nice obvious place first. When found, the cache was frozen in place and it would not budge nor open. Although the log book could not be signed, I will claim a find but can only offer the word of the shady bunch that watched with grins.

When I read that Eversure was thinking about my Stony Brook Cache when he scoped out this location I knew it was one that we would have to do. What a beautiful walk today from the Erie County Winterfest to this location. We took the spur trail and got some great photos of the waterfall with a massive icicles and the sun just in the right place. As others have mentioned it is not possible to open the cache but we were very satisfied to have seen this beautiful place just the same. Thank you Eversure, a really cool spot!

Found this after stopping in to visit at the Akron Winter Festival Cache. Met up with Roadkill, Balloonpilot, Chickenlips, Brogran and others as they walked out.

I loved the cache location but it was frozen in place so none of us could sign the log book.

As I told the Hilton's I would, I ended up falling on my arse and getting muddy while going after this one. My gps had me way off for awhile, even with heading up to the road for better reception. Just when I was about to give up I used some of my Dúnedain skills and finally found the cache. Great job Eversure, was wondering what C&S stood for.

Took a quarter and left some baseball cards.

I'm sure you've already hit the hobbit cache, so head up to Erie for the The Fellowship of the Ring cache and while your there check out the rangers other caches.

4th of 5 finds today. Found at 3:40 PM.
Hadn't been to Akron in over 25 years. Used to visit some people that lived here.
Nice little park full of people having fun. We were the 2nd to find the cache today. Missed Team Headrush by about 2 hours. Got lucky and spotted the cache from the trail. Neat hidding spot.Signed log, took/left nothing. Very little water in the creek, so we didn't bother to go look at the falls. A local couple we met coming from that direction said we didn't miss much. But that it is real nice when there is water. Thanks for the hide in this nice little park.

PS After rereading the printout while writting this, I realized we failed to find out the meaning of C&S when we opened the box. ?????

This was our 2nd today - Akron is a beautiful little town. After we found the cache we went on up the trail to see the waterfall - how beautiful. It was a nice day for a hike in the woods - sunny, but not too hot.
We dropped off a travel bug - Bat and Ball. He wants to visit professional baseball parks. He's already been to Rochester's Frontier Field. Please help him on his way.

Found it. My Etrex was playing with me at first. But finally settled down and lead me to it. The most challenging part was to not be spied by others in the area. Took longer to pick the right moment then it did to locae the cache. Very hot dat...but great just to be out and about. Cache is in good shape. This is a wonderful park, I was in the area and decided on 3 geocaches. Found all 3, but one was trashed by someone with an opposable thumb! Thanks

Hey there Hilton Family!

We decided to do this one after the Akron bike path, and Im sure glad we did! The location for your cache is awesome!!!!!

After finding your nicely placed cache, we kept walking along the path to see what was making that loud gushing sound. The mini niagra startled me so much that I slipped and dropped the camera in the water!! ( Good thing for the warranty! ) This place is so nice we plan on coming back for a picnic and to take pictures!!!

Signed the log and took nothing and left nothing. Enjoyed this cache very much!

Thanks for the find!

Second and last cache of the day with my mother still along for the ride with the rest of the crew. Found cache pretty easily around 5:20pm but was nervous as I felt many eyes were watching. Interesting spot! Took nothing, left nothing.

Started this find mid morning hoping weather forecast for diminishing rain was correct. It was!!! As this was the first of 3 cache-hunts we had planned for the day. Beautiful park - Make sure you stop and admire the rock garden. Found cache with the help of the clue. Took the Kachin Keychain catcher to add to and place in a new cache, left rain poncho. SueShe

Excellent location if we must say so... We found the fungi, and the rest is history. We
visited the cache site at approx. 2:20, not even expecting to attempt any caches today.. Seems
that DMC was interested in finding out just what geocaching was all about so we took the
opportunity to show him the ins and outs and ups and downs of this exciting game. We took
the watertight first aid kit and left a pack of hand warmers..ahhhhhhhhhhh yes, we also have
in our possession the hitch hiker Boudreaux... We will place him in another cache soon and
log his new home when he has one. Thanks for a great way to spend the afternoon..

Great cache adventure,Hiltonfamily. A really nice park that I never knew existed. Weather was great & the walk was nice. GPS did a little geo-fritzing near the cache, but persistence paid off. Excellent cache spot. Had the Mrs. & I fooled for a bit. Took a laser pointer & left an emergency blanket & 2 wheresgeorge bills. Didn't sign any of the quilt squares, as we signed a few earlier at the Akron Walk cache. Had a great time. Thanks.
