Last fall as I was Auto-Routing thru this area I stumbled on this small Town of Avon Park. Although I have traveled extensively in this part of the world for many years this little gem was a hidden treasure I did not know about. At that time I thought it would be a nice place for a cache. Now you can discover what I think is nice little spot for a quick visit and easy walk, maybe bring a bag lunch and enjoy a quiet moment or two.

This will be a short walk from your car. With a nice view of a surprise as you look back toward the parking area. You are looking for a clear Tupperware like container with a white top. There are no items to trade, just a logbook to record your visit.

Please be sure to push down hard on all 4 corners of the cache container to re-seal it. Try to return it to the hiding spot just as you found it.

ENJOY

What a fantastic spot! - This was P-man and my final stop on a great day caching to and from Rochester. The waterfall was absolutely beautiful! With all the water that we've gotten over the last couple of days the roar of the falls was in full force. I can't believe I forgot to bring my camera!!! Oh well - here's to a return trip! Haha.
After we found the cache, P-man and I checked around the falls for some fossils (and actually picked up a couple of really nice ones). Just another great experience - thank you Rocky again and again!

This was our first find. My granddaughter and I were pleasantly surprised to find this cache because it was so well hidden. The view is spectacular this time of year with the creek and falls flowing at full force. Thanks for a nice adventure.

Friday, noon
Stopped by on my way home after visiting Geneseo on business. I remember partying here as a fraternity pledge while a student at SUNY. Great location for a cache. Too bad the locals treat it like a landfill. Took nothing, left a Where's George bill and signed log. Second of two today.

We didn't know about this park and lived in Mumford when we first moved to this area. Took some pictures of the falls. We walked past the cache many times, stood next to it even used it for a resting spot. One last look and there it was. No one will find this by accident if it stays in its spot and well covered.

3rd 'Rocky' cache of the day. Drove by earlier but town mowing crew was there so I decided to do Driving Park cache 1st then come back here. Nice little park, as walking to cache I spotted another cacher logging his find. I hung back, and took pics of area and gave him time to put it back. Easy find for me of course at 11:45AM. (A kid did accidently come upon cache 2 days ago and wrote obsenities on log page, so I ripped that one out so no one w/ younger children has to see it.) Thanks for the nice pretty hide.

Rocky, you almost had us stumped on this one. I knew your coordinates would be good (they were) and we looked for over Ĺ hour and were about ready to give up when Donna said check there. I already had once but did again just to please her. Guess I hadnít checked good enough the 1st time cause there it was! Loved the falls. There was the biggest snapping turtle I had ever seen out in the water in the middle of the falls on a rock just letting the water rush over him. Hope the picture turns out, Iíll post it. He must have been at least 16 inches in diameter and I would say his tail was at least 10 inches long. Thanks Rocky for the hide in a very scenic place.
