Remember Grandma's clothesline? All the freshly washed clothes hung out in a very particular order. Big to little, dark to light, and all the socks in a row followed by... oh how embarrassing...our undies! And you don't need a boat to log this one!

This cache was inspired by my listening to a CBC Radio interview with a lady whose name now escapes me, about a book she was having published on, you guessed it, laundry on the line! This is quickly becoming a thing of the past, with our busy lifestyles. Clothes hung on the line were almost an art form unto itself, with the different orders of placement from family to family. Clothes hung based on size, color, sets, etc. Then those messy lines, like mine, just the way the clothes came from the washer, a bit of this and that. Now, my favorite line of clothes, from when I was a kid was a line of FROZEN jeans and Stanfield long underwear, truly a sight to behold!

This is a log anywhere cache and to score, log the coordinates, a pic of you and your gps'r, with that long line of clothes.

we use this one. just had to go out the back door. since winter is here all the clothes drying is done in the dryer. we also use the clothesline for an attached flagpole and bird feeding stations. this is in bend, oregon.

About a month ago, before I knew about this cache, I was helping my step son and his family move out of the small house they'd been renting into a larger home that they had purchased. As I carried a load out to a truck, I jokingly asked if they wanted me to pack the clothes pins out on this line.

Note that the pins can still be seen in this photo. They are no longer there. We were on our way to visit them in their new home, so I took the clothes pins to them.

This is literally my Grandma's Clothesline. Although my grandma passed away a couple of years ago, this clothesline is used by the tenants of one of her properties in Morro Bay, California. We were vacationing in the home that lies directly behind this one, so I couldn't resist snapping this photo of my son, Andrew, and snagging this easy one.
