This is a letterbox cache.

I placed this cache to celebrate my 100th find which occurred on International Cache In Trash Out day, April 26, 2003. The cache is in a short plastic container - about 8 inches square. There is a small prize for the first finder.

I have good news and bad news regarding this cache. The good news is that it is easily accessible. The bad news is, that most of you will take the short cut which changes the terrain difficulty from a 1.5 to about a 3.5. Be assured however that there is an easier way to get to the cache if you don't like hills and don't mind a slightly longer walk. It should be accessible for all cachers. If you have small children, just keep an eye on them because there is a steep slope nearby.

My GPS was picking up 10 - 12 satellites at the time I placed this cache, and even had the accuracy down to 8 feet! There are lots of good hiding places in the area, but bear in mind - I was being nice today.

Happy caching!

A quick find on my way home from work. Like the nice stamps for my log book. I even found a extra stamp to take as a trade item (not the cache stamps, don't worry). I left a Sacagawea dollar. I'll use the stamp when I make up a new cache - maybe to celebrate MY 100th!

This was a very appropriate cache for me to seek/find after being at White Haven to say goodbye to a dear Scouting friend, Don "Big Guy" Whitcomb.

Guess I picked the right way. It was an easy hike. Good coordinates made for an easy find. Signed log, collected stamp, left mine. Thanks for the hide.

Another fine letterbox hybrid junglehair. Nice spot, I walked by it half a dozen times. Lots of great spots to hide around there. Like the stamps. Thanks for a fun one, and congrats on 100+ grrrrrrrrrr...... jackbear

Thought we were taking the 3.5 terrain route but it ended up being 1.5. Great hiding spot.

I tried not to make this a cache and dash but the parking is pretty close so I walked slowly over to the cache. Coords are right on. Picked up Van TB.
First is fun.
