We adopted, relocated, and made a multi cache out of this one. Decided to archive the original cache and resubmit as a new cache.


This is now a two part multi-cache. The first stage is a small pill bottle with a magnet glued to the cover. Inside you will find the coordinates for the actual cache. You will need a retrieval tool to get it out of it's hiding spot. Check the photo below for a suggestion.
The second part and actual cache is a well marked, camouflaged ammo can. Be sure to stop and get a trail map and tree identification guide at these coords:

Just joined here, so logging some finds.

Missed this one the first time around, at the first stage. Spent over an hour looking. Left and returned a few days later, and walked right up to the first stage. Got to the second stage, and finally managed to snag it!

The first stage caused a few fits cause the coords were off by a good bit (this tends to happen when batteries get low!) Got the coords and moved on to the next stage. We took the obstacle course route over all the fallen trees on the trail. Got to the location and spent a few minutes at a red herring nearby the actual location - again the coords on a dying GPS were off a little. TN, left some film. Took the easier way back.

This park looks a whole lot different post-Isabel. We found the cache that was here before. Couldn't see nearly as much sky as you can now!

Did not find this one. Although we were on top of the first part. We do not know if maybe it is no longer there, due to someone thinking it was garbage and cleaning the park, or if we just missed it.

What a great multi-cache! Went around in circles for a while. My nephew figured out the final leg on this one with a boost from me! Took lighted keychain and traded out WG $ and left a geocaching button and a deck of Americas most wanted playing cards. Great Cache!

Great area for a hike. Found the cache with only a little difficulty from the tree cover. Swapped a George dollar, but nothing else. Everything not in the Zip-loc bag is quite soggy. Thanks for the adventure..

Visiting from New Jersey for the week so I'm hitting the area caches. Found the park entrance but had to park at a nearby residential street. Is there another entrance? A bit damp after yesterday's rains but an easy short walk. GPS was pointing to one direction but I didn't think that was likely so I took a look further down the trail and found it. Unfortunately, I have to report some water damage. The lid was off the cache so the contents were soaked. We drained off most of the water but there wasn't much we could do. Fortunately, the log book was still in good condition. Thanks.

A nice walk, the temp and humidity seemed to drop while we were on the trail. The path near the cache is covered in debris from what looks like park improvement.
We took a Cubix toy, left a Where's George? and a multipurpose bottle opener/kitchen gadget.
There are no picutres left on the camera and there seems to be some trash in the cache . We took some of the obvious trash out with us.
Overall though, a nice find.

Nice little park. Neat old house from 1730 across the street. We must have taken the trail on the opposite side because we walked through the brush to get to the tree. Hidden pretty well. We left some crayons but didn't take anything. We ran into a group of teenagers who were videotaping some sort of medieval play that resembled Monty Python's Holy Grail. They asked us what our favorite color was. Blue! No, Yellow! Ahhhh!

Found using the clue. It took a while to find a trail to go in the right direction, but once I found the right trail, the clue objects were obvious and so was the cache. There were quite a few logs in the book that are not on either web site.

Beautiful day so The wife, kids and I decided to check this one out not being far from home.

Nice cache in a good spot. This park was tucked away almost as well as the cache and I don't think I would have ever realized it existed were it not for going after the cache.
Very nice little area.

Daughter Holly spotted it and the little one decided he wanted the bat so that's what we took. Left Yore and signed the log. Also took picture of the crew and myself with camera.

Thanks for introducing us to a nice area.
