Relocated Billy's remains and his treasure as his old ship looks like it was in a Pirate war and lost. Look for Billy's bones to find the cache not far from the original locatin.

Originally found 2 September 2007 We looked over the old waste water treatment plant then found the cache just before night fall. A great park to cache in. Will be back this Labor Day weekend TFTC!

I managed to take the "fast way" downhill while doing this one, "knee skiing" isnt as much fun as it used to be! LOL

This marks our seventh and last cache of the day here at Sampson State Park. It was a great day and it was great to ride our bikes throughout the park. Imagine walking!! We were really beat by now. We couldn't wait to get to this one and head home. I think in all we traveled about 24 miles today. We took breaks and had lunch on the dock. It was a great day for father and son. Made our way down a long path then down a small hill into the valley. It wasn't too bad. Bearcub traded a toy lion for a photo album. We also grabbed the travel bug alien #427481. Nice hide.

With the NYGO State Picnic going on, there were plenty of cahers around. We had to wait for one team to finish before we went and grabbed this one. We took a mini fan and left a stress relief light bulb and a globe keychain. On the way out we picked up a bunch of garbage with one of the 100 Cache in Trash out bags we got!

Found Captain Flint, realized this one was near. By now, we were getting the common thread to many of the caches in the park! TNLN. Thanks for the helpful clues!

Modified the coordinates. When we hide the cache there were no leaves on the trees. Logs have indicated cache is 20-60 feet from coordinates. We rechecked the coordinates and decided to make a minor modification.

4th of 11 Finds today 13 Jul 03, Found at 12:20 PM
3rd of 6 finds in Sampson state Park. This was the only one that we had any trouble with. Each of our GPS�s had the cache about 75 feet away. Spent about 10 minutes looking in the wrong area. If I had paid more attention to the clue I would have known. Anyway backed up to re-group and just happened to spot the cache. Should have seen it when we walked by it the 1st time. See Junglehair was in the park doing caches at the same time as us. I remember seeing she had been to a cache just before us. Wish we had ran into her, guess we�ll have to wait till the picnic to see hear again. Signed log, TN/LN. Thanks for the challenge in a nice area.
