This is the site of a tragedy that occured early in the 20th century. It is a sign upon which you will find the answers to the following questions.

1. What happened here?
2. What year did it occur in.
3. Whose name is the third on the list.
4. In what year was this memorial placed?

Pleas e-mail me the responses so you can get credit for the find. Answer all the questions correctly and I'll tell you what two things happened as a result of this incident.

Just going through my found list, and updating here on Navicache.
Had a day of use-it-or-loose-it today, so I decided to hit the Great Uncharted North-Land (Williamson County, that is) Had Plans to hit Round Rock, Hutto, Taylor, Georgetown, Liberty Hill, and Leander made to it about half of them. This was #2 of 10 successes before time, the weather, and my feet all ran out.
Very interesting history lesson School kids today ought to know that they are safer because of what happened here. It was a very busy day at the nearby street, but no one seemed to pay me any mind as I was taking notes, or even when I was digging around .
Took the small skeleton, left a Turkish coin.
Thanks!

I visited this site today as there is a geocache very nearby. I had forgotten what was needed for "proof of visit" so I'll have to back before trying to get credit for this one.
