Nice easy cache in a small lovely park located in East
Bremerton on the corner of Sylvan Way & Olympus Dr.

GREAT FOR FIRST TIMERS!

As you travel from West to East through Bremerton, you will be crossing the Warren Avenue Bridge. Continue to Sylvan Way and go East on Sylvan Way towards Illahee State Park.

Bataan Park is at the top of the hill across from a water tower. When you see the sign turn right either onto Olympus or into an alley about 100 feet before the sign to a small dirt parking lot.

There is a beautiful view of Seattle, Bremerton and the Olympics Mountains to the West. Take a picnic lunch and enjoy the view.

We had seen some recent 'Not Found' logs from some of our fellow geocachers on this cache (posted on Geocaching.com), and were worried that we would meet the same fate. I guess that we are living right, as we found it relatively quickly. I don't think that we scared the neighbors, either!
