This should be easy.

This is my first, so I thought I'd try something simple. I thought I'd be the first to put one in Taylor, but I just checked; someone put one in last week (not far from mine). This was the home of a prominent politician who excelled at being the first to do several things. To claim a find on this cache, please email me with the answers to the following three questions:

1. What were the things he was first to do?
2. What group did he prosecute?
3. How old was he when he was elected Governor?
4. What was his wife's maiden name?
You might as well check out Taylor's first cache while you're here.

Updating my Navicache logs. Confirmed this one some time ago as kitledcacher. This and others gave us a nice little tour on our first trip to Taylor (and a nice stop at Mueller's BBQ!). This cache is a great example of why I love most virtuals! TFTC

Picked this up on the way back from Granger Lake. Thanks for the cache!

Just going through my found list, and updating here on Navicache.
Had a day of use-it-or-loose-it today, so I decided to hit the Great Uncharted North-Land (Williamson County, that is) Had Plans to hit Round Rock, Hutto, Taylor, Georgetown, Liberty Hill, and Leander made to it about half of them. This was #9 of 10 successes before time, the weather, and my feet all ran out.
This is a very interesting spot. It s a good reminder how much history there is in all directions around Austin.
Thanks!

Found this one previously and emailed answers at that time - 5/11/03. Am just logging on this site. Thanks!

I've seen this person's name on buildings and parks all across Texas, but never really knew much about him. The little bit I learned here as definitely piqued my interest. Thanks for pointing this out!

Stopped by here on the way to the Texas Challenge. I was not aware of this part of Taylor's history. Thanks for bringing me here. Wayne

Nice virtual but I'm not sure that all the answers are on the historical plaque. Maybe you have to go inside?

Went by here at 7pm so all I got was the marker out front. Will have to go back by when I return to Taylor to get the other cache in area
