In truth, the real value is in the view from this point. Caught at the right time on the right day (choose to arrive at the car park to for dawn or dusk), the view can be remarkable. At dawn in the autumn I have seen a fog rolling up and and down the hill from the valley below like a white sea - spectacular - and at dusk on a clear day the lights of the local town below and Gatwick in the middle distance are worthy of the visit. If you have further leisure time it's an ideal place to start a walk from.

For a greater challenge the cache (not for children)Inclined to be Nervous is sited very nearby.

was going to do this while doing inclined to be nervous, but the co-ords posted would appear to be in the middle of a field next to the M25 and nowhere near the car park in the description. so just a note, to check the co-ords are correct, or should they be an objet near the car park with the view from reigate hill?

Easy to find - though we did choose the wrong car park, and had to walk further... oh well. Inclined to be nervous was our next stop.
