Start at the White Pine Lake trailhead in Little Cottonwood Canyon. Follow the trail up the mountain towards White Pine Lake.

Find the Key Cache first. The coordinates listed above are for the key cache. (PLEASE be careful finding the key cache! When stepping on rocks/boulders, be aware that they may move or shift. Check your footing before placing all of your weight on them!)
Once you've found the key cache you will find a key in it. There is also a logbook for the key so you can check in/out the key. The coordinates to the lock cache are also in the key cache. I would suggest going for it! You've come so far, why stop now!

Please enjoy the view! That is the reward for finding this cache! It is one of my favorite spots and I'm sharing it with you!

We took the key with us and put it back after, but of course it isn't needed now.

Up here with Shaker. Logged w/ pics on GC1705. We put in a new cache container with a log and Dilbert joke.

Just claiming a find originally posted at the gc.com site - I think it is so much better for any cache listing to have logs :)
Great cache, thanks again, tslack! We sneaked in with Jasmine in twilight, and since we also detoured to View of 4 Lakes cache on the cliffy ridge to the West, it was a challenge to find the 'key' part again on the way back. And then it was headlamp time all those miles down.
