A cache in a gorgeous canyon in beautiful French Jura area.

Baume-les-Messieurs is simply beautyful! A valley gorge with mesas all around, a medieval French village, and a phantastic cave!

And the famous wine village of Chateau Chalon is just around the corner!

The cache is up near the base of the rock wall that sourrounds the village. A nice cave is near it, too. Be prepared to get funny GPS readings once you get close.

And please, fortify the cache after retrieval with rocks - I suspect the goats to be very curious animals!

Nice cache with beautiful view to the village, thank you for this! The cache is already there, I found it within 10 minutes . Maybe the other guy received no signal, I had also problems during the walk. It is realy not a way to go with small children, I myself was a little nervous, because I felt not so smart than a goat. It was helpful to read the additional hints before going up to the rocks, because you do not recognize the waterfall-erosion standing direct on its base.
