DO NOT VISIT THIS CACHE AFTER DARK - THE AREA IS NOT SAFE

This cache was hidden in the winter time. Please be aware of high water, snakes, alligators, nutria and mosquitos when searching in the warmer months. Some bush whacking may be required.

The cache is a large 50 cal. AMMO Can

The cache is located in a Louisiana Wildlife Management Area. What appears to be a service road is actually US Highway 51. Along this road you will find a park. The Highway US 51 has a high rise bridge over pass Manchac. In the 70's this bridge was struck by a barge and the road bed fell into the pass. This accident happened before the opening of the Interstate - 55 elevated highway. In the late sixties and early 70's the Manchac bridge was one of my favorite swimming areas. Lake Maurepas is actually a shrimp hatchery area and no shrimping is allowed. Now go find that cache!

To solve the location of this cache you must first solve "Ruddock Rendezvous". The coordinates of this cache is the parking lot of Ruddock Park. Use the partial coordinates you copied at the Ruddock Rendezvous to determine the actual location of the cache.

Follow this carefully -

For North subtract the number from the North coordinate of the Parking Coordinates.

For West add the number to the West coordinate of the Parking Coordinates.
