The cache is at the top of Lone Peak. When you're at the top, you're at the top. The cache is at the top! You DON'T need to climb DOWN or search AROUND any of the cliffs. See if you can find it without the hint. If you can't, please, please, PLEASE use the hint! The hint tells you exactly where it is. I will eventually include a picture of the hiding spot too. The cache is hidden well enough that you won't be able to see it without moving something. This is a popular peak to climb and I DON'T want it stolen or plundered, so non-geocachers will probably not be stumbling upon this one.

The cache is a small, purple, plastic contatiner. It's original design was to hold crayons, so I put some crayons in there. If you feel like drawing a picture to describe the hike/view, feel free. The only thing in the cache right now is a notebook, crayons and a pen. Feel free to add something SMALL, but if it won't fit I won't be offended if you take it out. I WILL be offended if you shove something in there that doesn't fit and as a result the logbook gets wet. Thank you for your consideration in advance. Please put the cache back exactly the way you found it.

The four trails that I know of to access the Peak are as follows: Bells Canyon, Draper Ridge Trail, Corner Canyon (Jacob's Ladder) and Alpine (Hamongog Trail). Know which way you're going to start and do some research to find out where the trailheads are. I parked in Corner Canyon (dirt road) and took the Jacob's Ladder Trail. It took me 3 hrs 45 minutes to get to the top with a couple of diversions (I saw three Bucks 50 yards away and we all stared at eachother until I got bored).

I am an active 25 year old and was hiking alone. Please judge for yourself how long YOU will take. A lot of people hike to the Lone Peak Cirque and camp overnight before they summit the next day. I've read on other internet sites that it takes other people around 5-6 hours one way to hike to the top.
