This isn't really a cache, and i can take no credit for it. On top of Smoketree Mtn south of Palm Springs someone placed a very nice American flag. I first noticed the flag on 10/4 from my front yard. Flag is about 1.5 miles from my house and i can occasionally see people on the peak through binoculars. I've hiked up here quite a few times myself in the past. Great views of Palm Springs and the surrounding desert. I'm not sure the exact date the flag was placed. Today, 10/8, i hiked up to the peak and took some pictures. Whoever placed the flag did an outstanding job. It's very pretty.
