This is a Navicache you can pick up on the way to North Dome. (See Navicache, "Hiking Yosemite's North Dome".)

Very few people know about this natural bridge arch, or how to get there and it is not identified by the trail markers. It is on the way to North Dome, but you won't see it in the distance, unless you make it a habit to look behind you as you hike. But as you return from North Dome, probably very tired, like everyone I saw, you will see an odd object off in the distance. It looks like an alien from outer space. Then, as you get a little closer, still off in the distance and above you, it looks like an alien next to a cabin with a chimney. The alien looks as big as the house. Many hikers don't notice it. If you see it, it is a good indication that you are on the right path towards seeing Yosemite's only natural arch bridge. This unusal object starts you on the right path...Your Navicache coordinates will take you to the natural bridge.

However, you don't have to go to North Dome to find this natural treasure. Just follow your Navicache coordinates.

There are only two natural arch bridges in Yosemite. The other one is underwater and you can swim through it. I will be making a cache for it in the near future.

TO PROVE YOU FOUND THIS CACHE:
1. On the path to North Dome, there is a mileage sign that points to this natural bridge but it says nothing about being a natural arch or bridge. What does it say, and what mileage does it say?

2. Approximately how long and wide is the hole created by the natural arch. This does not have to be exact. Is it bigger than a car, or a two story building, or a flashlight?

Go ahead and log your find after sending me your answers.
