A micro (35mm type canister) very near a popular fishing area in Toad Suck Park. The grass is mowed up to where this cache is hidden. The coordinates were averaged for a few minutes on a Delorme Earthmate PN-20.
 This cache is located less than 50 feet away from a playground. We attended the birthday party of one of our friend's children. I noticed that there were no caches around so I decided to place a few. BSA534 told me there was a few here last year but because of flooding last year they were archived. You are looking for a 35mm type canister with a geocaching sticker. Finding this cache shouldn't be too difficult even for a first timer. Since it is very close to the lock and dam don't forget to bring a fishing pole and enjoy your time here. This is a popular fishing area so some stealth may be required while searching for this. These coordinates were averaged with a Delorme Earthmate PN-20 (they may be off a little but the hints should be plenty help.) If this cache needs any attention please let me know (or if i need to adjust terrain or difficulty.) This is in a spot that could house spiders and other critters so please be careful when retrieving it. I listed in the attributes Cliff/Falling Rocks even though the terrain does not reflect this. This is because it is on a pretty sleep incline. Please be very careful in this area as it is very close to the raging waters of the dam. Swimming in this area is prohibited. |
