Bring along your kayak, canoe, or boat for this quick cache. It's on the way to other paddling caches in the bay and should make for a quick find.

It's now listed on geocaching.com ... it was still there, as of a couple months ago anyway.

I don't recall if this is still there or not.

But I'm going to archive it, in the hopes it will become a lost cache.

Found this one with Pep and Hale at the start of a long day of kayaking. My first navicache find. Do I get a smiley?

Out with Taz and Hale doing Kayak it and started with this cache. If only I saw you place this... Thanks for a quick and good start to our day!

Wednesday night is now dedicated to the races at Bay Creek. Calling it a race is misleading. The course covers a small part of the bay and the creek. Participants are individually timed paddling the two-mile course, each week you “race” to beat your personal best time. It’s fun, 8 bucks gets you the use of their boats, your recorded time, a hot dog and a pretty fair selection of craft beer. If you beat your time you get a certificate for a free race night. Mack4 and GeoGriffin paddled tonight too, of course I didn't tell either them about the cache until after I found it.

So, after paddling a 22.48 I cooled down with a paddle out to the base of what I image must have been a very fine lamppost, on what I imagine back in the day must have been a very fine wharf. I was expecting a bison and surprised to see a new lock n lock. I was even more surprised to see the $10 gift card to Moonbeams (I hear they have “ok” ice cream) I would have thought someone else (R) would have been out for a quicker paddle.

Hey can you bump the terrain up to a five? I don’t want to lower my over all average.

Thanks Chile.

Where's the rest of the lamp post?

For now this is navicache only as there is a cache on geocaching.com that is too close. However that one seems to be missing so if it get archived this will be cross listed.
