You can park at the top of Bear Gap Road to find the cache for a short walk, but the cache is also a brief side hike from the Mid State Trail.

Find the crazy lost tree!!!! It is SICK! It has a square, you'll know when you see it. The coordinates will lead you there!

Three of us were here looking for this, we found the tree (after quite a bit of time just finding the right road to get to the cache, 2 GPS units, neither had detail maps loaded.......) but came up empty on the cache. We did manage to get completely SOAKED as a heavy rainstorm decided to start just as we were giving up the search, and of course, ended just after we made it back to the vehicle.......
