Play "Pooh Sticks" on this bridge to nowhere, then find the cache.
The substantial timber bridge is an interesting landscape feature across the small river "The Cut" and adjacent to a flood balancing pond. Very limited parking is available close by, just off Harvest Ride, at N 51°25.779 W 000°45.170 however you will most probably have it to yourself and be undisturbed during your visit. Safety first: please be aware that children should be actively supervised at this location- the river is shallow but may have a strong flow at times and access to it to rescue a fallen child is not straightforward due to undergrowth. The balancing pond may just be boggy ground, or it may have water in it. This location is close to my home. I travel fairly frequently on business and will give a lift to any travelling items left there with a specific mission to travel abroad. Please make an effort to replace the cache well so that it is not in plain sight for the next visitor. Thanks. Click To Rate This Cache

Open Log: Unrestricted Robin and June thought they'd try finding another geocache by Sandvika - and without using their GPS. Just a google earth printout, and looking for the lie of the land, bushes, etc. We found it with no problem, and this time remembered to leave our printout in the cache - plus a golf ball. Took nothing, but filled in the log book. June didn't take a piccy of the cache, but she had done after I parked the car, pressing against the litter bin :-)

Only just noticed this cross-listing. I'm logging this in the spring of 2009, having visited this cache 6 months ago as a Groundspeak cache. I note that, like many others before me, I went to the wrong side first. I trust it is OK to cross-log it, if not then let me know and I'll delete the log.
