This is an easy C&D. Changed the 35mm film canister to a key box.

This is part of my 1st series 'CROSS ISLAND TRAIL' series.(My 2nd series is 'The MATAPEAKE TRAIL'). The Cross Island Trail built from 98-01 is a 5+ mile long trail that goes from Terrapin Nature Park, Rt 50 & Rt 8, (just as you come onto Kent Island) to The Chesapeake Exploration Center On Kent Narrows.

It is full of great habitats & fun things to see along the way. You can walk, skate, ride a bike or just go from spot to spot. It is ADA accessable. (Watch for my Cross Island Trail:Bridge Over cache & you can read about all the trail has to offer.)

For this stop I did a C&D at what I called the Creepy House. You will see why when you get there. There is nothing tough about this at all. You can almost drive up to it but that's why I put it where I did so you would HAVE to get out of your car, if you're driving. Plus it's a cool photo op. :)

As always please remember that the environment is delicate even if it doesn't look like it. Be kind. Also be aware that we do have poisonous reptiles here so if you go off trail be cautious but most of all ENJOY!

Just found this site and decided to update what I had. I originally logged this cache in as a Geocache find. First of six before the: MAGC 08 Travel Bug Challenge "Hail to the Chief" event cache. It took longer to unroll and reroll the log sheet than it did to find it.
