This is a C&D. You are looking for a 35mm film canister. It isn't all that tough & you wont even get your feet wet now. If you go in the water just watch for jelly fish.
This is part of my 2nd series 'THE MATAPEAKE TRAIL' series (the first is "CROSS ISLAND TRAIL'). This is Romancoke Pier (Get the connection? It was just something silly that popped in my head :)) It is at the end of the Matapeake Trail & sits on the back side of Kent Island on the Eastern Bay. Even though this is a cache and dash you may want to walk out to the end of the pier & watch the antics of the birds. They can be very entertaining at times. The only tough part, if you want to call it that, about this C&D is (if you want to beach walk) depending on the tides you may have the chance to get your feet alittle wet. If this is the case then just watch to make sure the tides haven't brought in the jelly fish. You can either pull into the actual pier parking & make the grab or you can pk just outside the gates on the street. *********DO NOT PARK WHERE IT SAYS 'NO PARKING'********** Park just a short ways from there. Waypoints aren't really needed for the parking as it is extremely obvious. If you did the full MT series I hope you enjoyed it. If you haven't I hope you will. Either way however short or long your stay may be at our pier ENJOY! It is pretty & usually there is a real nice breeze.
