***AS OF MARCH 16 COORDS HAVE BEEN UPDATED*** This should be a fun cache with a very cool view.

I moved away from this area in 1969. While back in town (& now that there is such a thing as caching) I thought this would be a beautiful place to put a cache. (This cache has be moved slightly to increase safety) I was out here during the snow storm Jan 31st & confirmed my idea of a great place for a cache. This cache has been rehidden by a very special new friend & it will allow folks to come to an area where they can park, roam the area & see the beautiful wildlife.

While out here today I saw an endless number of birds, deer, a fox & 3 coyotes. It was wonderful. I had to laugh at the ducks that were sitting on the ice & snow covered water but they seemed to be pretty happy. There was a small area that was not frozen that they were able to swim around in & would take turns in this area - hence the title.

Parking is close by & there are 2 trailhead coords you will need. You will be looking for a 'preform tube painted green'. Bring a writing tool. GPS MAY bounce just alittle but give it a minute to settle & don't forget to ENJOY!

Since this is a new location, for those who have already logged this find please feel free to hunt again & get another smiley face. Oh & don't thank me, thanks goes to KroBro for making this an even better cache. :)

2nd DNF of the day. I looked high, low, and in between, but didn't come up with anything.

:)

That Bro is a tricky one. :)

After a quick STF on a nearby cache I had some time to spare and this one was soooo close.

I had hunted a Bro cache here in the past and knew the trails and where they would lead. The water was high and when I was at the waters edge heading over it was a tricky go. For the first time this season I did have the water go over the top of my boot (!). Good thing it was tied tight and only got the top of my sock wet. Good thing too that I had spare shoes in the car. :)

Finally! I was at the spot and checked a likely spot mistakenly looking for a regular sized container. Mmmm... Widened my search area... Mmmmm... Grrr... :)

Decided to fall back on a Phone-a-friend and had to leave a message, made another call...

Finally I got a call back and they corrected my misconception of the container size and gabe me a hint of just two words one of which was the name of a geo-friend of ours.

:) Found it shortly after that. :)

Nicely hidden in a great spot! Terrain might be a half star or more this time of year.

Decided to bushwhack for a bit on the way back to miss the deeper parts of the water and came out just fine.

Thanks for the cache!
