I was on the island for some other caches and wanted to get this one off my DNF list. For some reason today my GPSr's coordinates seemed to be about 50 feet off for several of the caches on the island. Hopefully that was just an anomaly. TFTC

After getting skunked by the Matapeake tour de parking lots, I decided to try this to see if I could see what there was to see. I initially saw a lot of bilingual signs that said I wasn't allowed to be there but I think they meant that I wasn't allowed to have a picnic or set up camp. In any event, I didn't think anyone in their right mind would leave the comfort of their air conditioning to challenge me on this hot day. I found the cache quickly and took it away to a nearby bench to take in the spectacular view of the bay bridge. That's definitely a cool thing to see for a visitor like me. Thanks for bringing me here. TNLN. My signature sticker is in the book. Johnny.
