Red and I saw this object sticking up out of the weeds, power poles and fences. Then on the map, we saw the symbol. After strolling up to check it out, I found this to be a very crowded yet lonely place. It seems as something had been forgotten. I was having troubles getting the GPSr to lock, due to location or time of day I am not sure. So please send me your numbers while you are in there if you would.
Let’s see now. To the East we have a rock pit and construction equipment. Do not try to come in this way. To the South we have more rock pit as well as the confluence of the Snake and the Clearwater Rivers. Do not try to come in this way. To the North we have, we have, we have, well I guess I should warn you, we have EKO. If you have not been around EKO before, it is a composting facility. And man can it put off an, well shall we just say, aroma??? Do not come this way. Also to the North we have a forest of poles and fences and wires and an assortment of big steel boxes. Do not try to come in this way. That leaves us West. Now coming in from the West is going to be your best shot. But I should tell you that you just might want to wear long pants and heavy boots as the Star Thistle is very heavy and has a habit of poking holes in skin. In the summer time, there could be a few snakes popping up here and there. If you should choose to do this virtual cache, no container or log book, Just send me the name and age of who is here and what the fence is made of. Simple. Nobody should be left out here and forgotten. There is some local history here and I will be going online to see what I can come up with. Maybe the historical society will have some information. |

Very interesting to find one grave in the midst of these surroundings. I'm not sure how you spotted this from any distance. Anyway, the answers will be in the mail shortly. Thanks.
