The cache is located at the top of a small granite bluff on Mowat Island in Parry Sound.
Cache Elevation: 192m

Accessible by Canoe, Kayak or Motorboat, beware the buried hydro cables running underwater from the small beach. (you can spot them easily)

We were camping for the weekend at Killbear and playing with the Kayaks in Parry Sound exploring all the Islands when this one just started taunting me... You see, back in High School, I attended Woburn C.I. and like most schools, we had our rival school, Mowat C.I. There were many pranks and stunts pulled off between the schools over the years, but it's been a few years since I've been in on the action...

Well, this here is Mowat Island... yep, gotta place a cache here! Woburn's cache on Mowat Island... now those Mowat kids are gonna have to find Woburn Island if they want to get back at me!

You can paddle to this one from numerous points in Parry Sound, but if you're staying in Killbear, I suggest trying from either the Blind Bay boat launch or from Light House Point. We paddled from our campsite over in the Granite Saddle campground. There is a nice shallow landing area near the cache, and the water is great for swimming in.
