Said to live for 500 or 1461 years (depending on the source), the Phoenix is a bird with beautiful gold and red plumage. At the end of its life-cycle the Phoenix builds itself a nest of cinnamon twigs that it then ignites; both nest and bird burn fiercely and are reduced to ashes, from which a new, young Phoenix arises. The new Phoenix embalms the ashes of the old Phoenix in an egg made of myrrh and deposits it in the Egyptian city of Heliopolis ("the city of the sun" in Greek). The bird was also said to regenerate when hurt or wounded by a foe, thus being almost immortal and invincible a symbol of fire and divinity.

This cache is at the site of one of the most notorious events in Kenosha's history - Ian's Ingeneously Evil Invitation. Master Nai was not one to give any hints and had a most sinister cache hide. Got O Milk was the only finder in the history of Ian's Ingeneously Evil Invitation. After that original cache burned to the ground, the container was recycled and eventually destroyed.

Enter the Phoenix. The cache is reborn (only this time under differant management). I've placed a fittingly evil nano cache container in a new location for you to find. As a bonus, I also placed a 2" diameter metal container with a log book for you to find and record as a bonus. It's placement is in the exact same evil spot as Ian's Ingeneously Evil Invitation.

I was wondering what happened to this cache. Now I see it has morphed into a navicache. Finding this one was quite tricky, but Bill (Senior Searchers) and I eventually found it after about 20 minutes of hunting. SL/TFTC!
