Spinning a Yarn is telling a story. This yarn is full of knots.

We've all seen the Andy Griffith Show and the the opening credits with Sheriff Taylor and Opie walking down the path with their fishin poles and skippin stones.

Did you know that scene was filmed right here in Russell, Illinois? Yep, it's true - right here as a matter of fact.

Of course, over the years, the farmers have plowed up most of the evidence, but there may still be something left.

I would have thought that the corn would have been in the crib at this time. The dog had a great time running down the rows on our way to this cache.

Ckrone made the find while I was distracted by the residents of the birdhouse nearby. No, not birds but mice.
