Comments:

Cachers concentrate your search to the "top side" of the bridge/walkway. If the cache were to fall it would most likely land in the water not on earth...that is until April 1st anyhow.

No Compromise No. 4

This magnetic key holder micro cache can be found in a more suburban lakeside location. It can be a busy place with boating, duck watching and fishing activities going on at various times so please be indiscrete when looking for this cache. The coords listed will change as of April 1, 2003, I will post a note to let you know they have changed. If you find the cache reward yourself with a walk out onto either of the piers and take in the sights and sounds.

The cache has room for a single log book and does not contain a pencil so you better bring your own, the only thing you are to leave is your John Hancock or mark. Save your comments for your online log and please return the cache as you found it so that others can enjoy looking for it.

Hint; The cache is not located on the road you can not see or retrieve the cache from the road. Yes, the cache is near the road.

Catching up with recording caches...
This cache must hold the record for causing me the most frustration!!!
I was totally blind and the cache owner is VERY good at hides! Now, I can enjoy sailing/driving by this cache with out doing a lot of swearing! Loved it when I FINALLY found it!

Catching up on some log entries.
Actally found this one on 07/01/04 after missing it on 6/30/04. This was our first of this great series of caches.

We read the listing and got hints from all over the place. Just before tackling this one again, we ran into a fellow cacher. "Car2" was his name. He gave us some hints to help us on our find. We got to the area in question and started our search. This time we were more coordinated. It took us about 10 minutes to find it. but it took us an additional 10 minutes to get to it because of all the muggles in the area. I finally got it and logged our find. Took a couple of personal pics for our refrence. Success!!! We hit Abbottes nearby in celebration of our find. Clever hide. Too bad there were some unsportsman-like cachers to ruin the hide to some extent. The CHALLENGE is what makes the hunt exciting.

Well, we finally found it. This time the light was right and we were in the right frame of mind to find it. Of course it was in the same place we looked before!

We checked on the keyholder on our way home from the picnic and it is still there. Each cacher posting a frown log has had hints emailed to them for future reference. You cachers from the west don't feel bad, even our local spectacular cache hunter finder has been stumped.

Headed here from Tamarack Swamp with Berkmom, Berknator13, Geo, Jockwannabe, Mr Mom, and The Goo. All GPSr's led us to the same spot but after searching every square inch, or at least it seemed, we still could not find it. We did find couples making out, but they left soon after we pulled out several flashlights. Finally gave up when two squad cars came tearing into the parking lot. As we exited the bridge, they rushed by us and asked Is there anyone else out on the bridge? I very innocently replied No.

Hope to return to this scenic spot and try again.

Teamed up with Peppermill 6-Pack in the rain. Not too many people around. While Adam and I enjoyed a good soaking, Peppermill found the cache. (Of course, we let her, didn't want to hurt her feelings, by being beat by a newbie.)

Went with 2 of the Garford gang on this very rainy morning. Just a couple brave fishermen around the bridge area, but none on and none paying any attention to us. Found cache at 10:50AM, summer coords right on (was there any doubt?). Thanks for helping to make my sister and family realize their addiction by their wanting to get out caching, even in the rain!

*1st to find!* Well... second time was a charm. Had to use one of a geocachers most important tools, next to the GPS and the Compass. It worked for me for sure. Glad I got it, cuz it was *really* bugging me! It was sooooooo cold, I think I jammed the 1st finders award back in the case. Just wanted to get back in the vehicle. Enough for today.

Either I'm blind, not tall enough to reach, or not enough of a monkey. Couldn't nab this one.... good luck to others.
