Navicache to Eagle is a series of caches designed to show you the hard work that Eagle Scouts have done for our community. I will take you on a series of cache hunts to various Eagle Service Projects that were designed and developed by Boy Scouts of the Southeast Wisconsin Council, BSA.
Some of these caches will be virtual caches, some will be actual containers. The containers will not be difficult as the purpose is to highlight the project. In order for a Scout to be awarded the rank of Eagle Scout, he must develop and coordinate these service projects. Most Scouts will have hundreds of hours in before they are finished. This particular project was completed by a Scout from Troop 583. He installed the trail posts seen throughout the park. The intent is to kepp folks on the trail. Came at this one twice today, once from the south with this cache as the destination and once from the north. Saw a lot of deer tracks and either a big dog or cat following.
