Welcome to the largest Open Pit Iron Ore Mine in the world. It seems that this location is a cenral location in my life. When I was a lad, many moons ago, I visited this location with my parents. I took some wonderful photos of the mine. Later, I stayed the summers with my older sister ina neighboring town and visted here often.

In my adult life I come here several times each summer. I have hunted geocaches around this area, ridden bikes through this area, camped near this area and visited museums in this area.
