This cache is currently locked in snow, ice and sand. Amazing what a little winter storm will do. Best to wait for a thaw again.

Simmons Island Beach is a favorite place of mine. I love to come here and comb the beach for money. Yep, if you play your cards right, you may just be able to go geocashing!
When the wind blows off the lake, an interesting phenomenon happens. The wind swirls around the coins that people drop on the sand. The swirling wind removes the existing sand from around and under the coins. They literally are perched up on small pedestals.

Try it. But wait for a Easterly wind!
