Open Log: Non-commercial use only My brother and I took our 5-year old niece and her little friend geocaching today and this one was at the top of our agenda. I told them there was a playground here (and there is!) but to my dismay the "rocket ship" that my nephews so loved to play on isn't around anymore. We let the little girls figure out the way to get across the streams and they had fun showing us the way to the bridges. The short hike to the cache site was a familiar one to us given that D@nim@l's Navicache is just a wee bit further on up the trail. It turned out to be just a little bit too cold for the little ones so we had to rush this cache and cut short our planned geocaching adventures for the day. We had to lift them across a small water hazard to get close to the cache. This was fun for them because they got to pretend that they were flying. Eric found the cache in short order and the little ones almost forgot that they were "freezing to death" in their excitement to claim some booty. We traded some stuff and then beat a quick retreat back to the warm car so that we wouldn't have to listen to any more talk about being cold. When is the "lamb" part of March due to arrive? Thanks for hiding this and for listing it where the frog don't roam. Johnny, Eric, Laura, and Leanna.

Open Log: Unrestricted I was at work on this beautiful day, and it was killing me that I was not out caching! So, after work, I got the girls together, and off we went to enjoy the ICV trail. What a great time we had. The weather was awesome, as was the hike in on this nice trail. Although we have been on this trail many times before, I never knew about the mine entrance. I’m sure glad you put a way point for it on the cache page. We had a little trouble finding the cache; I will email the cache owner about this. We made the find and then headed out and ran into an old friend who lives near by. Another great cache on the ICV trail, I love it! Thanks antaries, you made my day!
