The cache is hidden near the Rocky Ford Trail in Wallace State Park.
The cache is a brown plastic jar with a white lid. The cache was originally a "twin" to the "Gemini" cache, also hidden in the same park. The park has a lake with a swim beach. The park also contains picnic shelters, camping areas, and numerous hiking trails. As you approach Deer Creek on the trail, look upstream and nitice the limestone shelves. These were once used as a ford by the farmer who once owned land on both sides of the creek. This probably was also a ford on a Mormon trail more than 160 year ago. |
