Devilís Snare
Devilís Snare
Itís deadly fun
But will sulk in the sun

Devil's Snare is a plant with creepers and tendrils that traps anyone who touches it, binding their arms and legs and then choking them to death. It was one of the enchantments that was guarding the Sorcererís Stone. If you are caught in Devilís Snare, you need to relax, or it will only kill you faster. Ron Weasley panicked and couldnít relax. Hermione remembered that the plant does not like the sun, and used a spell for sunlight to free Ron. Good thing for Ron that she paid attention in Herbology class!

You will think that this cache is surrounded by Devilís Snare. There is no ďeasyĒ time of year to get to this cache, albeit some times the year will be worse than others... It is located on the same length of Pendletonís Rails to Trails as Urkelís Spawn of Multiplicity #5 and my own Second Choice.

Recommended parking for this cache is at 43į 06.759/078į 45.941, where there is room for a couple of cars.

The area can be a bit on the ďmoistĒ side, but youíll be more worried about not getting tangled up, than getting your feet wet. Youíre looking for a 50 cal. ammo can.

Found while out doing some heavy winter caching in the area.

Stopped here after getting the car unstuck at Second Choice.
Parking situation was better here and it was a nice little trek to the cache. Once again I used the "cache deer" to guide me there with as little bushwacking as possible. Looks like hunters found this one. I removed live ammo and a couple of nails from the cache. They did not sign the logbook however. Another very nice cache.

No Trade - TFTC - Nice Hide.

Had a great day out caching. This reminds me of Urkel's spawn of multiplicity ccahe.

Parked a little further at the water tower, but it's only .35 miles to the cache. Had a great time on this one, bushwacking through a swamp (at least it is one in the spring). It doesn't get any better than that. TNLN, thanks for the cache.

As usual, I forgot to log a cache on this site. Very very wet back here, but that adds to the fun I suppose. Then I got turned around after replacing the cache and couldn't find my way out. Good hide, TFTC TNLN.
