Railroad for History is the first in a series of historic Williamsville caches I am going to be planting.
The cache will take you to the spot of the old train station that used to run through the town long ago. This 3-part multi-cache will take you less than an hour in a sort of triangle formation. The total trek is less than 3/4 of a mile along streets and Milton Park.Beware of muggles especially on the last cache for there are a lot around in the spring/summer/fall season. The first two caches are micros and the last is a small tupperware container with stuff. The difficulty rating in the winter will go up a lot because snow could possibly bury the cache. Please treat the cache with respect and trade fairly and put it back where you found it.This is a good nightime cache because it will be easier to acess the final because you can use stealth.Part 2 will take you to the site of the old 1956 Ice House where the Hampton Inn is nowadays.Good luckand have fun!

Found the first location, but the coordinates are faded and extremely difficult to read; we gave it our best guess. These non-Williamsville natives did enjoy a nice walk through the leaf-covered streets. We think found location two, but we were questioned by a local cop who thought we were up to no good. More help required.

This is definately my most favorite multi-cache so far in my time caching. Dragonflyby & myself had little difficulty. Leg 1 could use a little polishing up, but we were able to decipher the coords correctly. Thanks for showing us a little piece of history.

Nobody around on this extremely hot day. Located the final quickly, after finding the first two parts a couple weeks ago, and signed the log. I was very familiar with part 2, as I was the one who designed the Rite Aid and Hampton Inn, and knew all about the history of the Ice House and the chaos it created when it was demolished. Thanks for the history lesson and the cache.

Well the rain stopped and we were in the neighborhood. No solo attempt this time the whole crew was on board along with Woodies roundup. The mandate was issued "No Slurpies until we find this thing." It took all of 15 seconds to locate stage 2. I have a theory why I could not find it earlier that I will keep private. Then a quick jaunt over to the final which was muggle free due to the weather. We turned Woodie loose and he came up with the find in a couple minutes. Okay I guess it's not a FTF but I guess it qualifies as a FTFAIHBPOG (First To Find After It Has Been Posted On Geochacing.com) We couldn't have done it without Woodie anyway.

I Found all parts without too much difficulty. Big time Muggle alert for a summer like Saturday afternoon in April though. The final, I was about to leave and come back at night, but then I spotted it, and decided I could log it undetected. The so-called "Mad Medic" must have punched a number in wrong, I found the final coords to be deadly accurate. Thanks for the cache Exit M., fine job.

OK, this cache should only be done during daylight. Tried it in the dark and had a problem with leg 2. Came back today and finished the cache. Found the final laying exposd to plain sight, rehid within 6 feet of original spot. Coords on final seemed a bit off. Took 2 Travel Bugs, left carabiner and other swag. Also left pencil for logbook. Placed logbook in ziplock bag.
Yes, this was another FTF for the mad medic!
