This is a virtual camera cache where the coordinates posted will bring you to the location you see in the picture below of our kids holding a GPS.

While on vacation with my family and friends, we spent a very nice day walking the property of Boldt Castle.
There is much history to be learned here that the whole family will enjoy.

Plan on spending a good part of your day here if you wish to see all there is. Also be sure to take the ferry over to the Boldt boat house across the water for another tour into the history of this area.

TO LOG THIS AS A FIND YOU MUST VISIT THE EXACT LOCATION YOU SEE IN THE ABOVE PICTURE AND TAKE A IMAGE OF YOU AND OR YOUR FAMILY OR FRIENDS HOLDING A GPS IN THE SAME SPOT. SUBMIT YOUR IMAGE ALONG WITH YOUR LOG REPORT.

If you wish to learn more about George Boldt, then visit this website called Boldt Castle, A gift of love

Another nice site to visit filled with images of the castle and it's back ground can be found by using this link of the 1000 islands.

To get to Boldt Castle you will have to cross the waterway in some fashion or another. There are quite a few ferry boats near by that have set times for just this.
One company among many is the UNCLE SAM BOAT TOURS
Or for other listings be sure to visit TOUR BOAT AND SHUTTLE SCHEDULES.

No matter what you do with your day I am sure you will not regret visiting this very special spot.

After more than 10 years, this Navicache only virtual has been found!! It's actually a little difficult to find the spot, but I imagine if anyone has ever tried it, they would have logged a DNF. I'm at Ft. Drum on a public computer, but I can upload the required photo in a day or too. Thanks Quinn! P.S. what are those kids, like in College now? :-)

EDIT: The Navicache site is hopelessly broken, and I see the Google maps on the cache pages don't even work anymore. The link to my photo also no longer works. Just look at my blog post at http://blog.opencaching.us/2014/09/10-years-ftf-lonely-virtual-cache.html to see the photo.
