Concept:
The log book for a geocache can be so much more than a disconnected series of weather descriptions, comments on cache placement, or lists of what tchotchke has come and gone from the tupperware container. This cache has been placed with the idea that each log entry be a continuation of the story it contains: Collaborative fiction for geocachers. The first reward for finding the cache is reading the story. The second reward is taking that story one step further in whatever direction you choose.

The original Storycache chronicling the adventures of Zeke the horned toad won the award for Best Themed Cache at the 2003 Austin Geocaching Awards.

This Story cache picks up where the original one left off. Zeke has taken a vacation from his adventures to seek some peace and quiet in the mountains of Colorado. What will he find instead? Only you know...

Instructions:
At the coordinates look for a hiding hole southeast of the large standing boulder. Sit with your back to the rock outcropping, out of site of the trail, and let the creativity flow. Anything from a single sentence to multiple pages. Remember to sign your entry with name, date, and time you visited!

This one is a great find, located in one of the Colorado mountains parks with scenic views. The cache is in fine shape. Even though there is only one previous entry logged here, there are about 10 log entries at the cache site. The most recent before mine is 7-7-11 from Spokane, WA. Zeke's adventure has grown quite a bit since the first post, come add your chapter. Thanks Navicache! Thanks Eoghan!

At last, a fresh idea....altho the idea of composing in a log book in adverse weather might not be appealing (or possible). At any rate, the weather was good and Zeke has now had a further adventure. The cache is safe.
Thanks Eo. Harvey.
